Registration & verification

Who can register?
Anyone who is at least 20 years old and holds a valid category B driving licence issued at least one year before registration. The licence must not be revoked, suspended or otherwise restricted. The whole registration takes place in the app and takes just a few minutes.
What do I need to register?
Your phone, an ID card , a driving licence and a payment card (Visa or Mastercard, debit is fine). In the app you photograph your documents, take a selfie and add your card.
How long does approval take?
Usually just a few minutes. In rare cases (an unreadable photo of a document) we'll ask you to retake it — which is why we recommend photographing in daylight.
Can I register with a foreign driving licence?
Yes, we accept driving licences issued in the EU. For licences from outside the EU, please contact us — we'll assess them individually. In all cases the licence must be valid and issued at least one year before registration.
What happens to the photos of my documents?
They are used solely to verify your identity and driving entitlement. We store them securely in line with GDPR and never pass them on to third parties for marketing purposes. Details are in our privacy notice.
What if verification fails?
The app will tell you why — most often it's a blurry photo or glare. You can retake the photos any time, and if you're stuck, reach out to our support.
Do you offer company accounts?
Yes, a company account can be set up by a legal entity (Ltd., joint-stock company, etc.) — it adds its own drivers and we invoice the company. Sole traders use a standard individual account.

Booking

How do I book a car?
In the app you see all available cars near you on the map, including fuel level and vehicle class. Pick a car, tap to reserve — and it's yours.
How long does a booking hold the car?
Each car has a free reservation period — you can see its length in the app for that specific car before booking. After it expires, a paid reservation runs according to the price list, and if you don't start the trip within the maximum time shown in the app, the booking is cancelled.
Can I book a car in advance for a specific time?
Yes, besides an instant booking you can reserve a car ahead of time — handy when planning a trip or a ride to the airport.
What if I change my mind?
You can cancel the booking in the app as long as you haven't started the trip. Ideally cancel during the free reservation period — after it ends, holding the car is charged according to the price list.

Driving & using the car

How do I unlock the car?
With a single tap in the app — your phone is the key. You don't need the physical key anymore, you can do anything with the car just through your phone.
What should I do before setting off?
Check the car and photograph it from all four sides in the app — the photos serve as proof of condition at pick-up and protect you. Report any damage or dirt before starting the trip via the app or the client line; you're not liable for anything you report.
Where can I drive?
Anywhere across the EU — the mountains, the cottage, to see family. The only rule: you end the rental back inside the operating zone, whose exact boundaries you can see in the app.
Can I drive abroad?
Yes — after purchasing a ride pass directly in the app you can travel to EU countries. Without it, the car may only be used within the Czech Republic. The car cannot be taken outside the EU and must not be transported by boat or ferry. Note that foreign tolls and road charges are not included in the rental price. Unauthorized travel outside of CZ leads to fines as per Terms and Conditions.
What about fuel?
Fuel paid with our card is included. Every car has a fuel card you use to refuel at partner stations — the card is only for fuelling that specific vehicle. Return the car with the tank at least 10% full (for electric cars, the battery above 20%). Report a lost card within 2 hours of noticing.
Is the car insured?
Yes, statutory third-party liability insurance is part of the rental price. You're liable for any damage to the vehicle only up to the excess for that car category — provided you used the car in line with the terms and reported the damage promptly. In cases of serious breach (alcohol, handing the car to a third party, leaving the scene of an accident, etc.) liability is unlimited.
Do the cars have a motorway vignette?
Yes, all our cars have a valid vignette for the whole Czech Republic — you can use the motorway with no worries. Foreign tolls and road charges are yours to cover.
Can someone other than me drive the car?
No. The car may only be driven by the registered user the rental is assigned to. Handing the car to a third party or sharing your account is a serious breach of the terms, with a penalty per the schedule and full liability for any damage.
Can I have a beer before driving?
No. Strict zero tolerance applies — 0.0‰ alcohol and no other intoxicating substances. A breach means a high penalty, unlimited liability for damage and account suspension.
Can I bring a dog? And what about smoking?
Animals may only be transported in a closed carrier safely secured in the car. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all cars and penalised per the schedule.

Returning & parking

Where can I end the trip?
At any publicly accessible parking spot inside the operating zone, in line with parking rules. Choose a spot where no parking restriction starts within the next 12 hours (watch for street-cleaning or closure signs). The car can't be returned in underground garages, on private or paid car parks, or behind a barrier. Before ending, photograph the car from four sides and tap "End trip".
Do I have to return the car where I picked it up?
No. We run free-floating carsharing — you pick the car up at point A and end the trip at point B, anywhere inside the operating zone.
What about parking in blue zones?
Blue and purple zones are free for our cars outside active bookings — so after ending the rental you can leave the car in a blue or purple zone without paying for parking.
What if I need to park during the trip?
During the rental you can lock and unlock the car freely and park according to normal rules — parking during the rental period is included in the price. Always lock the car properly and never leave the key or documents inside.

Payments & pricing

Do I need a credit card?
No, an ordinary Visa or Mastercard debit card is fine. Before a rental starts we may temporarily hold a refundable deposit on the card — we always tell you the amount in advance.
How much does a trip cost and when do I pay?
The price is made up of a time rate and a per-kilometre rate according to the price list, which you see in the app for the specific car before starting. After the trip ends, the amount is automatically charged to your card and the tax receipt appears in your account.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price includes fuel paid with our card, third-party liability insurance, the motorway vignette for the Czech Republic and parking in blue and purple zones after the rental ends. Not included are foreign tolls, fines for offences and any penalties for breaching the terms. The full overview is on the Pricing page and always in the app.
Is there any registration or membership fee?
No, registration is free and commits you to nothing. You pay only for actual trips.

Accidents & trouble

What should I do in an accident?
First stop, secure the scene and, if anyone is injured, provide first aid and call 155/112. Call the Police (158) if there's injury, damage exceeding CZK 200,000, or the party at fault isn't clear. Let us know as soon as possible, within 1 hour at the latest — via the app or the client line. Fill in an accident report (you can do it easily via Bouračka.cz) and send it to us. Never admit fault at the scene — we'll settle it with the insurer for you.
The car is damaged or dirty — what now?
Report any damage or significant dirt before setting off in the app or on the client line and photograph the car — the four-side photos protect you from liability for damage you didn't cause. If the car isn't driveable, book another one and let us know.
What if I get a fine?
Fines for offences during your rental are yours to pay. If we receive the fine as the vehicle operator, we'll pay it and re-invoice it to you in full together with an administrative fee per the schedule — we always notify you in advance by e-mail or in the app, and you have 14 days to object.
Breakdown, flat tyre or warning light — who do I call?
Stop using the car and contact support as soon as possible, within 1 hour at the latest — we'll tell you how to proceed. We arrange the tow service and repairs; never leave the car unlocked or without our knowledge.
I left something in the car. What now?
Get in touch as soon as you can — we'll help you get your things back. Found items are kept for 30 days, after which they're donated to charity. We can't be liable for items left in the vehicle, so always check the car when ending your trip.
